You want the hardware done as well? We can also recommend some individuals that might do small gigs. We do software that runs on hardware, but don't feel we are qualified to spec boards and design layouts. But we know people that are.

Certtech’s main emphasis is on testing and verification of critical software. However they also will do large custom software and hardware projects and have IT people on hand. They are also the leading National Instruments software provider in the Midwest.
Powis - Blue Springs MO
Powis does industrial controls primarily; with desktop software and database work to support this. Recently they have expanded to PCB Design and Layout for external customers, and software support for other customers as well.
ICE - Manhattan KS
Custom hardware for avionics and industries that usually require a lot of testing (environmental, reliability, shakers and bakers). They also have quite a lot of National Instruments integration experience.
Avatar Engineering - Shawnee KS
Custom hardware and software. Avatar likes to work with the customer from design thru manufacturing. This includes PCB Design/Layout and Industrial Controls as well.
